Electrical Engineer- PMO - Job Profile
The Electrical Engineer - PMO will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of electrical engineering activities in Electrical projects (Installation & Commissioning).
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, vendor management, and project execution, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and design specifications. The engineer will also be involved in liaising with stakeholders, providing project updates, and ensuring the project timeline, budget, and quality standards are met.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems such as UPS, lighting protection, and HT panels, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and codes.
● Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, while providing regular updates to stakeholders and liaising with regulatory authorities, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
● Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress and performance.
● Verify and validate project deliverables for quality and compliance with technical specifications.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement and compliance with project specifications, while keeping stakeholders informed of project progress.
● Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards and industry regulations by conducting regular safety inspections, implementing corrective actions, and performing quality checks on installations to meet design and performance specifications.
● Use AutoCAD to create, review, and modify electrical system drawings.
● Ensure designs are aligned with project specifications.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

Technical Skills:
● Strong knowledge of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing).
● Expertise in electrical design, installation, and commissioning processes.
● Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for electrical systems.
● Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and designing electrical systems.


Domain & Experience:
● 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in MEP projects.
● Proven experience in UPS, lighting protection systems, HT panels, and other electrical components.
● Hands-on experience in AutoCAD and understanding of technical drawings and SLD diagrams.
Education:
● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
● Relevant certifications in new technologies MEP domain or project management are a plus.

Communication & Soft Skills:
● Excellent business communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
● Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
