As a Sales cum Back Office Executive for an e-commerce company, you'll be responsible for both sales activities and administrative tasks, including managing customer orders, product listings, and inventory, while also ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Interaction:
Handle customer inquiries and orders through various channels (online, phone, email).
Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and ordering processes.
Maintain and build relationships with customers.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Coordinate with sales staff and clients.
Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly and professionally.
Manage the front desk area, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
Identify and generate new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Conduct product or service presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
Back Office Operations:
Manage product listings on e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate and optimized descriptions, images, and pricing.
Monitor and update product catalog, including adding new products and removing discontinued ones.
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock information.
Process customer orders, including shipping and payment processing.
Handle customer returns and exchanges.
Prepare reports and analyze sales data.
Maintain records and documentation.
Administrative Tasks:
Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, filing, and communication.
Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and logistics.
Stay updated with e-commerce platform guidelines and best practices.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including e-commerce platforms and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of e-commerce principles and best practices.
Experience in sales and customer service is preferred.
