The Logistics MIS Executive is responsible for managing data related to logistics and supply chain operations, generating reports, analyzing key metrics, and supporting decision-making through data-driven insights. This role ensures smooth logistics operations by maintaining accurate databases and coordinating with different teams for process improvement.


•Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting

Maintain and update logistics data in MIS systems.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on logistics performance, shipments, inventory, and other key metrics.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the system.

Prepare dashboards and presentations for management review.


•Analysis & Process Improvement

Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and warehouse efficiency.

Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for logistics operations.
Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.

Maintain records of shipments, invoices, and logistics-related documents.

Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations in logistics operations.
Software & System Management.

Work with ERP, SAP, or other logistics management software for data entry and analysis.

Support automation and digital transformation initiatives in the logistics department.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MIS and reporting tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

1-3 years of experience in logistics, MIS, or data analysis roles.

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc.) or other analytics tools.

Experience with ERP, SAP, WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.
