Key responsibilities

·         Source and procure raw spices, dry fruits, pulses and other FMCG items, from reliable suppliers and markets.

·         Evaluate and identify the quality of different spices, dry fruits, pulses and other FMCG items, based on appearance, aroma, and taste.

·         Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with vendors.

·         Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.

·         Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and availability of spices, dry fruits, pulses and other FMCG items

·         Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, farmers, and wholesalers.

·         Ensure procurement aligns with regulatory standards and quality control policies.

·         Work closely with the production and quality control teams to meet business needs.

·         Maintain detailed records of purchases, supplier performance, and stock levels.
