Ensure that the checkout section is orderly and secure.
Collect and pay checks, credit cards, and wire transfer; and complete each transaction in line with enacted principles and procedures.
Designate duties to the cashier unit daily and decide on extent of daily workload.

Effective customer service (service orientation etc.)
Experience as a cashier is desirable.
Basic math and computer skills.
Familiarity with cash desk equipment, such as point-of-sale (POS) machines, scanners, cash drawers, etc.
Customer service experience desirable.
Polite and courteous.
Ability to handle a high volume of transactions
Having a retail billing counter experience.
