Overview

Need Data Analyst, Business Analyst with telecom domain experience.

Should have handson in Lead to Cash and Trouble to Resolve journeys and processes for Fibre access products.
Should have solid understanding on different Service Fulfilment and Service Assurance journey metrics.
Must have exposure to deriving insights using data, should understand the existing process, identify improvements in the journey/processes, propose solutions on the identified improvement areas and provide consulting service to the telecom service provider.
Must have hands-on in writing SQL queries.
Experience using data visualization tools (eg QLIK, Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc) is optional.
Should have experience in value tracking the business benefit for the delivered solution against the envisaged improvement in business metrics.
Identify trends and make recommendations for quality and operational improvement.
Collaborate with leaders to understand key value drivers and challenges within their business units and determine the key metrics and insights that can help improve the business (Enhanced CX, Right First Time, On Time, This Time).
Continually think of new ways that data-driven insights can help telecom service operations team.
High competency in leveraging BA tools and techniques.
Knowledge on AI/ML models, Bard or Chatgpt is desirable.
Demonstrate traceable business and functional requirements (show work examples)
Monitor, manage, and ensure predictable delivery of the project in a deadline-driven environment.
Compile analytical and statistical reports.
Review information for accuracy and reconcile data.


Responsibilities

General:
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact with business users, technical IT groups, project managers, senior management, outsourced service providers, and vendors
Experience as a Business Analyst in Telecom domain. Highly experienced in SDLC/Agile will be a Plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to organize and clearly present ideas in a convincing and compelling manner
Excellent interpersonal skills to gain understanding of requirements and priorities, manage stakeholder expectations, recognize non-communicated requirements and bring them to light
Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment; team player yet able to work independently with minimal direction
Familiarity with Telecom domain - Service Fulfilment or Service Assurance or Network build processes for Fibre access products
Basic knowledge of different network nodes in Fibre access network topology
Atleast 6 years experience in a relevant business environment, including atleast 3 year experience in data analysis using SQL etc.
Experience and comprehensive understanding of data collection, transformation and presentation processes.
Experience in data transformation/visualisation tools (eg QLIK, Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc) is optional.
Experience with application design, testing and deployment
Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, R, SQL etc to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
Experience in AI/ML models, Bard or Chatgpt is desirable.

Data Analysis:
Establish analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data, using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses.
Collaborate with teams to understand business partner and client needs, share and syndicate output of analytical models, and provide support during implementation, where needed.
Good knowledge and hands on in Data ingestion, Data modeling, Data Engineering (data lake)/ Data visualisation.

Predictive Modelling:
Develop and execute new and/or highly complex algorithms and statistical predictive models is desirable.
Determine analytical approaches and modelling techniques to evaluate potential future outcome is desirable.
Consolidate data across multiple sources and databases to make it easier to locate and access is desirable.


Requirements

Bachelor's degree (in any field) is mandatory.
MSc/BE / Masters with specialization in IT/Computer Science is desired.
Atleast 5 years of work experience.
Adaptability and experience working in multi-channel delivery projects is preferred
Experience in Advanced Data Science, proficiency in applying ML, NLP algorithms such as regression, classification, neural networks is desirable.
Basic level of expertise in data pipeline creation, technical coding skills, database design, data modelling and mining, cloud enablement and machine learning and artificial intelligence using mathematical and statistical analysis is desirable.
Basic level of expertise in result orientation and excellence, adaptability, initiative and analytical thinking is required.
Technical knowledge of Telecom, T-SQL, PL-SQL, Python/R/ SAS/Scala, frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras and GIT, AWS, GCP and Azure is desired.
