Job Title: Food Delivery Rider / Driver

Location: Guwahati
Reports To: Delivery Manager / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Food Delivery Rider to join our team. As a delivery rider, you will be responsible for picking up food orders from restaurants and delivering them promptly and safely to customers. This role requires excellent time management, communication skills, and a customer-first attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up food orders from restaurants or vendors

• Ensure accurate and safe handling of orders during transport

• Deliver food promptly to customers’ locations

• Use GPS navigation to find the quickest and safest routes

• Communicate with customers and restaurant staff professionally

• Handle payments (if required) and provide receipts

• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of delivery vehicle/bike

• Report any issues or delays to the dispatcher or manager

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license or motorcycle license (if applicable)

• Own vehicle, scooter, or bicycle (depending on delivery mode)

• Smartphone with GPS and delivery app access

• Good knowledge of local roads and routes

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and in various weather conditions

• Punctual, reliable, and responsible

• [Optional] Prior experience in food or package delivery is a plus
