Responsibilities:
Product Delivery: Deliver goods or food items to customers within a specific area in a timely manner.
Route Planning: Follow an optimized delivery route to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
Loading & Unloading: Properly load goods, ensuring the items are handled with care.
Collecting Payments: In some cases, handle payments for COD (cash on delivery) orders.
Maintaining Delivery Records: Ensure delivery forms or tracking systems are up-to-date and accurate.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle (bike, car, etc.) is in good condition and fuelled.
Timeliness: Ensure that deliveries are made within the allotted time frame to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills Required:
Good navigation skills.
Knowledge of the local area and road routes.
Physical fitness (for carrying packages, especially heavy ones).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to use a GPS device or mobile phone for navigation.
Problem-solving skills (handling traffic, weather conditions, and unexpected delays).
Incentive & Salary Structure:
Base Salary: This varies depending on the region, company, and experience. For example:

Entry-level delivery boy: Around $200–$300/month.
Experienced delivery boy: Around $300–$500/month.
Incentives:

Per Delivery Incentive: A set amount for each delivery completed (e.g., $2–$5 per delivery).
Performance-based Incentive: Extra rewards for meeting specific targets like completing a certain number of deliveries, handling difficult customers well, or achieving delivery efficiency.
Distance-Based Incentive: Higher rewards for longer deliveries or deliveries to distant locations.
