Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, functionality, and quality in all aspects of facility upkeep and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily checks and preventive maintenance of cinema infrastructure, including electrical panels, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and general carpentry.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, plumbing leaks, and furniture issues in guest and back-of-house areas.
Conduct auditorium maintenance, ensuring ACs, lighting, and seating are in good working condition.
Ensure proper functioning of emergency systems such as exit lights, fire alarms, and power backups.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests raised by operations or facility teams.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the maintenance areas and tools.
Support other technicians during special events, screenings, or technical upgrades.
Maintain service logs and report issues to the Engineering Supervisor in a timely manner.
ITI / Diploma in Electrical, or related trade.
0–2 years of experience in a maintenance or technician role, preferably in a hospitality, mall, or theatre environment.
Skilled in electrical work, basic plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
Ability to operate tools, meters, and testing equipment.
Physically fit to handle shift work and extended standing hours.
Willingness to work on a rotational shift, weekends, or holidays.
Electrical License (preferred but not mandatory)
AMC or vendor coordination knowledge (a plus)
Rotational shifts (including weekends and late nights)
Theatre environment with exposure to high-traffic guest areas
Uniform and grooming standards to be followed as per company policy
