The Home Loan Sales Officer is responsible for generating business through direct sales of home loan products. This role includes prospecting, client meetings, documentation assistance, and maintaining good relationships with customers and channel partners to drive loan disbursements.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and source potential home loan customers through various channels (leads, referrals, cold calling, walk-ins, etc.)
Explain loan products, eligibility criteria, documentation, terms, and conditions to customers
Assess customer needs and recommend suitable loan solutions
Ensure timely collection and verification of required documentation
Coordinate with credit, legal, and operations teams for loan processing
Follow up with customers throughout the application and disbursement process
Maintain regular contact with customers for business referrals and cross-selling opportunities
Achieve monthly sales targets for home loans and related products
Provide excellent post-sales service and maintain long-term relationships
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory guidelines
