• Identify and generate leads for solar projects through market research, networking, and cold calling.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy and our products/services.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Work closely with the technical team to assess client requirements and provide tailored solar solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, government policies, and incentives related to solar energy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of sales, customer interactions, and market intelligence for reporting purposes.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in business development/sales in the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and government policies related to renewable energy.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development activities.
Preferred:
• Experience in handling rooftop solar, ground-mounted solar, or solar EPC projects.
• Existing network of potential clients or industry connections in the solar sector.

Experience in solar industry is mandatory
