As a Life Insurance Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and closing sales of life insurance products to individual clients and businesses. You will work independently to prospect and cultivate new leads, build strong relationships, and offer personalized insurance solutions to meet the needs of your clients.
Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue potential clients through cold calling, referrals, networking, and face-to-face meetings. Use available databases and tools to generate new leads.
Client Consultations: Meet with clients in person or virtually to understand their financial situation, needs, and goals. Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate life insurance products (term, whole, universal, etc.).
Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the different types of life insurance policies, benefits, features, and market trends. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and guidelines.
Sales Presentations: Present life insurance options to clients, explaining policy features, benefits, costs, and exclusions. Provide solutions that align with the client's financial goals and risk tolerance.
Building Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and service, such as reviewing policies or assisting with claims.
Meeting Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets and performance goals. Track leads, conversions, and sales activity in CRM tools.
