Key Responsibilities
• Sales & Business Development
• Identify and develop new customers, distributors, and channel partners in Bangalore and other key regions.
• Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for Thomas & Betts products.
• Generate leads, conduct cold calls, and follow up on inquiries to convert potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, electrical contractors, panel builders, and industries using cable management solutions.
• Technical Consultation & Product Support
• Provide technical expertise and recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for clients.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical components to advise customers effectively.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Address customer inquiries, provide pre-sales and post-sales support, and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain regular interaction with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and project managers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
• Coordination & Order Management
• Work closely with internal teams for pricing, quotations, order processing, and delivery coordination.
• Ensure timely follow-ups on quotations, tenders, and project bids.
• Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
• Travel & Market Expansion
• Travel within the assigned territory (Bangalore and nearby regions) to visit customers, attend meetings, and participate in trade shows.
• Explore new business opportunities and expand the company presence in untapped markets.
• Reporting & Strategy Contribution
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, competitor activities, and market insights.
• Contribute to sales strategies by identifying potential growth areas and customer needs.
• Suggest improvements for marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
