Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the installation, setup, and configuration of printing and cutting systems at customer location.

2. Perform initial calibration and testing to ensure systems are ready for use.

3. Provide customers with operational guidance and answer questions regarding equipment setup.

4. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on printers, cutters, and related equipment.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues at customer sites to minimize downtime and disruptions.

6. Provide emergency repair services as needed, ensuring quick resolution of technical problems.

7. Offer expert technical support to customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of products. 8. Train customers on proper usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.

9. Assist customers in resolving issues related to print quality, calibration, software, and hardware functions.

10. Educate customers on best practices to ensure optimal performance and longevity of their products.

11. Document all service activities, including equipment maintenance, issues identified, and repairs performed, and any follow-up actions required.

12. Generate detailed service reports for customers and internal teams.

13. Track service and repair activities in the company’s service management system.

Technical Skills:

 Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues in large-format printers and cutters.

 Strong understanding of printing processes, including color calibration, ink systems, and media handling.

Experience:

 Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in technical support, field service, or engineering, particularly in the printing or imaging industry.

 Experience with large-format printers, digital printing technologies, and cutting equipment is highly desirable.  Hands-on experience with products, such as inkjet printers, UV printers, and cutters, is preferred.

Working Conditions:

 Travel Requirement - Frequent travel to customer sites is required. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary depending on the location of service call.
