We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Staff member who can provide exceptional cleaning and maintenance services both indoors and outdoors. This role involves performing various cleaning duties, ensuring cleanliness and organization of all areas within the facility, and assisting with outdoor tasks as required. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and physically capable of handling both indoor and outdoor tasks.
Indoor Housekeeping Duties:
Clean and maintain assigned areas, including rooms, lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, carpets, and furniture.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and maintain cleanliness in guest rooms or work areas.
Disinfect and sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and handles.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens.
Ensure all rooms and areas are organized, free from clutter, and presentable.
Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, plumbing issues) to the maintenance team.
Outdoor Work Responsibilities:
Assist with outdoor cleaning tasks such as sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and maintaining the cleanliness of exterior areas.
Help with seasonal maintenance tasks, including leaf removal, snow shoveling, and basic landscaping duties.
Maintain outdoor furniture, ensuring it is clean and in good condition.
Assist in setting up and cleaning outdoor event spaces, including tables, chairs, and equipment.
Provide support during outdoor events or gatherings by assisting with setup, teardown, and maintenance.
Ensure the outdoor areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained for guests or employees.
General Responsibilities:
Follow safety guidelines and protocols for both indoor and outdoor tasks.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
Ensure all work is performed efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Report to supervisors or managers regarding the status of tasks and any issues encountered.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
Ability to work in various weather conditions for outdoor tasks.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
Full-time or part-time position.
May require working during weekends, holidays, and outside of normal hours depending on the facility's needs.
Outdoor work may expose employees to various weather conditions.
