Key Responsibilities:
• Soldering electronic components onto PCBs following industry standards and best practices.
• Perform visual inspection and testing of PCBs to ensure proper soldering and functionality.
• Use various soldering techniques (e.g., hand soldering, reflow soldering, wave soldering) to assemble and repair PCBs.
• Ensure correct placement and alignment of components on the PCB using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve any issues or defects in the PCB assembly process.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective PCBs when necessary.
• Document work completed, including time logs and defect reports, in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Adhere to all relevant quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
• Continuously improve soldering techniques to ensure high-quality output.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Electronics component and circuits.
• Proven experience in PCB soldering, including both hand soldering and reflow soldering.
• Knowledge of PCB assembly processes, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
