Job Title: Quality Inspector

Salary: ₹30,000 - ₹35,000 per month

Job Summary:
Raj Industry is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in Lalru, Mohali. In this role, you will ensure that our products—specifically screws, fasteners, and mechanical components—meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing rigorous inspections, testing, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Testing: Conduct both visual and dimensional inspections on mechanical products, ensuring they meet company specifications and industry standards.
Product Sampling: Perform regular sampling of products during production to verify product quality and consistency.
Defect Identification: Detect any defects or non-conformities in products, analyze the root causes, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
Quality Reporting: Document and report inspection findings, including defect rates, trends, and areas for improvement. Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities.
Compliance: Ensure products meet all regulatory and safety standards required by the industry. Ensure compliance with customer requirements and specifications.
Continuous Improvement: Work with the production team to suggest process improvements to enhance quality and minimize defects.
Final Inspection: Carry out final inspections of products before shipment to ensure they meet quality expectations and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration: Liaise with other departments (production, maintenance, engineering) to identify and resolve quality issues and improve product quality.
Calibration & Maintenance of Tools: Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and maintained to ensure accurate testing and measurement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Control, or a related technical field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment (preferably in screws, fasteners, or mechanical components).
Technical Skills: Proficient in using quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) and basic knowledge of quality control standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify even the smallest defects.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and identify corrective actions.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to report findings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Location: Candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Lalru, Mohali, Punjab.
