We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Operations Intern/Executive to join our team at BCIT Tech Park, Hennur. This role is ideal for individuals with up to 1 year of experience or those who have recently completed an HR internship. The HR Operations intern will assist in various administrative and operational tasks within the HR department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist in the process of onboarding new employees, including documentation, induction programs, and setup of necessary HR systems. Support offboarding for employees leaving the organization, ensuring all formalities are completed.
Employee Data Management: Maintain and update employee records in the HR database. Ensure data is accurate and confidential.
Payroll Support: Assist in gathering payroll inputs, verifying attendance, leave balances, and other related data for accurate payroll processing.
HR Documentation: Prepare and maintain HR-related documents like offer letters, confirmation letters, appraisal letters, etc.
Employee Queries: Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, attendance, etc. Ensure timely resolution.
Compliance & Reporting: Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal regulations. Support in maintaining records for audits and reporting purposes.
Training & Development: Assist with organizing training sessions and tracking employee progress.
HR Projects: Support various HR projects such as employee engagement, surveys, performance management, and other initiatives.
Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in HR, preferably through an internship or contract role.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
Desirable: Knowledge of HRMS (Human Resource Management System) and payroll systems is a plus.
