Role : Duty Officer (Shift Manager/Supervisor)

Location: Perambur, Chennai

Job Description – Duty Officer (PVRINOX Cinemas)

• Oversee daily cinema operations including ticketing, concessions, and ushering to ensure smooth functioning.

• Supervise, guide, and motivate front-line staff while conducting shift briefings and performance monitoring.

• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints or special requests efficiently.

• Monitor cinema premises to ensure safety, enforce policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.

• Manage cash handling, monitor sales, and assist with financial reporting and banking duties.

• Conduct regular facility inspections and coordinate maintenance or repair work as required.

• Support planning and execution of events and promotions, including crowd and seating management.

• Prepare operational reports, maintain incident and performance records, and manage staff scheduling.
  
  Qualifications:

  ·       Education: A degree in hospitality, business management, or a related field is preferred.

  ·       Experience: Previous supervisory experience in a cinema, retail, hospitality, or customer service environment.

  ·       Skills:

  ·       Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  ·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  ·       Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  ·       Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  ·       Basic financial acumen and proficiency with point-of-sale systems.
