· Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the items they are looking for.
· Answer customer inquiries about books, promotions, and store policies.
· Provide a positive and friendly shopping experience for customers.
· Assessing customers' needs and suggesting as per requirements.
· Working with cash registers and processing payments.
· Setting and attaining sales goals.
· Giving customers advice about sales and promotions.
· Presentation of store and advertising displays.
· Preparing promotional material and displays.
· Raise the indent for Required books.
· Need to take return of General Books which are brought to our store on Sale or return Basis
· Identify Nonmoving stocks and plan for returns to vendors
· Need to attend Books fairs & exhibitions
· Arranging stock from another stores or WH/DC as per customer Requirement within the time frame
· Should have Basis knowledge of fast-moving books on the shelf.
· Stay informed about the books and products available in the store.
· Be vigilant for potential theft or fraudulent activities at check out and billing counters.
· Follow store security procedures and report any suspicious behavior.
