Role & Responsibility: -

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

   • Oversee and maintain stock levels, ensuring that products are available and well-stocked.

   • Monitor stock rotation to ensure that older stock is sold first (FIFO: First In, First Out).

   • Perform regular stock counts and update inventory records.

   • Assist in managing inventory ordering based on stock levels and sales trends.

2. Product Display and Merchandising:

   • Ensure that products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner to enhance sales.

   • Set up product displays and promotions in accordance with company guidelines.

   • Ensure that products are easily accessible and aligned with customer preferences.

3. Customer Service:

   • Assist customers in locating products and answering their inquiries.

   • Provide advice or information regarding product features and benefits.

   • Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and promptly.

   • Help customers with product returns or exchanges, as per company policy.

4. Sales and Promotions:

   • Promote special offers, discounts, and new products to customers.

   • Encourage upselling and cross-selling to increase sales.

   • Process transactions accurately, including sales, refunds, and exchanges.

5. Store Cleanliness and Maintenance:

   • Ensure the store is clean, well-maintained, and organized at all times.

   • Follow health and safety regulations to create a safe shopping environment.

   • Assist with the upkeep of equipment, shelves, and displays.

6. Cash Handling and Security:

   • Handle cash, process credit card payments, and ensure accurate billing.

   • Monitor store security, report any suspicious activity, and follow safety procedures.

   • Ensure that cash drawers are balanced at the start and end of the shift.

7. Team Coordination:

   • Assist in training new staff members and guiding them in store operations.

   • Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.

   • Collaborate with the store manager to meet sales targets and other goals.

8. Reporting and Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and customer complaints.

   • Provide reports on stock discrepancies, sales performance, and other key metrics.

   • Assist with preparing and submitting daily, weekly, or monthly reports to management.

9. Product Knowledge and Upkeep:

   • Stay updated on product features, trends, and competitors.

   • Be knowledgeable about new products and services offered in the store.

   • Attend training sessions and product briefings to continuously improve expertise.
