Retail Store Manager – Apparel & Fashion

Location: Dehradun / Rishikesh

Experience Required: 4–6 years in fashion/apparel retail, with minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our fashion and apparel store in Dehradun or Rishikesh. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion trends, apparel retail operations, and customer service. This role requires excellent team leadership, operational efficiency, and a keen sense of fashion merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service

• Monitor store performance, stock levels, and visual merchandising in line with brand standards

• Handle customer queries, complaints, and high-profile clients professionally

• Maintain store cleanliness, product presentation, and staff discipline

• Coordinate with head office for inventory planning, new launches, and store promotions

• Conduct staff training on product knowledge, styling, and customer handling

• Analyze sales data and prepare reports on footfall, conversion rates, and sales trends

• Ensure compliance with company policies, billing systems, and security standards

• Drive loyalty programs, local marketing activities, and community engagement

Candidate Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in fashion/apparel retail, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of apparel categories (ethnic wear, western wear, casuals, etc.) and fashion trends

• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills

• Ability to handle store operations, team management, and performance tracking

• Tech-savvy with experience in POS/billing systems, stock management, and sales reporting

• Fluent in Hindi and English; local language (Garhwali/Kumaoni) is a plus

• Willingness to work on weekends, festivals, and seasonal sales periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate in Fashion Retail, Business Administration, or related field

• Knowledge of visual merchandising, styling, and customer relationship management

• Experience working with premium or multi-brand apparel stores
