Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr Business Development Associate to drive sales and expand our market presence in the ship spare parts industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of  B2B sales, online lead generation, building customer-relationships remotely, email marketing and product marketing. The ideal candidate will take home roughly 25-50% of fixed salary as monthly variable pay.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Growth:

● Identify and develop new business opportunities in the marine spare parts market.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

● Drive revenue growth for owned and traded ship spares, guided by sales targets

● Act as a single point of contact from the sales side from lead generation to deal closure.

● Maintain a list of high-value equipment owned by the company.

● Find e-marketing platform and list items on weekly basis.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

● Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and potential areas for expansion.

● Analyze pricing, demand, and supplier capabilities to offer the best solutions to clients.

Operational & Strategic Planning:

● Work closely with internal teams (procurement, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth business operations.

● Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve business objectives.

● Craft marketing plan together with Director, Business-Development across paid and free channels of marketing.

Qualifications & Skills:

● 1-2 years of experience in business development, remote sales.

● Diligence and perseverance to track deals over long sales cycles

● Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.

● Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships

● Experience with international trade, import/export regulations, and logistics is a plus.

● Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and ERP systems including Zoho

● understanding of ship spare parts, machinery, and procurement processes is good to have

● Good grasp over email marketing, SEO is required
