We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Executive to spearhead field sales activities for our tea products and associated offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, particularly tea shops and related businesses, and nurturing strong relationships through regular visits, feedback collection, and tailored assistance. This is a high-impact position that combines sales acumen, relationship management, and a passion for driving business growth. Key Responsibilities Field Sales & Lead Generation Conduct market research to identify new prospects, focusing on tea shops, cafés, and retailers. Visit potential clients in-person, demonstrating product features, sharing samples, and explaining the unique value proposition of our tea range. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads from initial contact to successful conversion. Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely updates on product launches, promotions, and relevant industry trends. Collect regular feedback on product performance, addressing concerns or suggestions to enhance customer satisfaction. Foster long-term partnerships through consistent follow-ups, collaborative problem-solving, and a customer-first approach. Sales Strategy & Execution Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to plan and execute regional sales strategies and promotional campaigns. Set and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets, ensuring sustained growth and market penetration. Propose innovative sales tactics, such as bundling offers or loyalty programs, to capture untapped markets and increase revenue. Reporting & Feedback Loop Maintain detailed records of client interactions, agreements, and feedback in the company CRM system. Provide regular reports to management on market trends, competitor activities, and overall sales performance. Work closely with internal teams (Operations, R&D) to relay client feedback, contributing to product improvements and service enhancements. Customer Support & Assistance Act as a brand ambassador, educating customers on best brewing practices, merchandising tips, and inventory management. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring a seamless experience. Assist in training new clients’ staff on product knowledge and sales techniques to maximize their success. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Experience: 1–3 years in field sales, business development, or a similar role; experience in FMCG or tea/coffee industry is a plus. Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities. Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building capability; comfortable meeting clients in person and addressing their needs. Results-Driven: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Adaptability & Initiative: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and proactively solve problems.
