General brief about the role: As a Financial Consultant with Geojit Financial Services Ltd., the primary responsibilities involve acquiring new clients and offering in-depth financial advice and support to aid them in reaching their financial objectives and aspirations. The Financial Consultant collaborates closely with clients to grasp their financial requirements, evaluate their risk tolerance levels, and assist them in selecting appropriate products based on their needs. Additionally, staying updated on market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities is crucial to provide informed recommendations to clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Expand the customer base by actively prospecting for new clients through diverse methods including cold-calling, appointment scheduling, and harnessing references/leads. Advocate for investments in Mutual Funds products, Insurance products, Equity & Debt Products, Currency Trading, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGB’s) etc. and any other products which may be launched in the future based on the needs of the customer. Execute cross & up-selling aimed at providing third-party products to optimize engagement with current clientele, thereby enhancing revenue generation for the company without any form of mis-selling. Ensure the maintenance and growth of Assets under Management (AUM) within the branch. Maintain consistent communication with clients who are mapped to him/her via telephone calls and in-person meetings. Educate potential prospects about the company, its products, and services. Provide regular updates to clients through research reports on equity, new mutual fund schemes, New Fund Offers (NFOs), Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and market trends. Assist clients with investment application forms and guide them through the completion process. Deliver after-sales service, conduct follow-ups, and ensure client retention. Contribute to branch promotional activities to enhance visibility and engagement. Personnel Specification• Education Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
