Job in brief : Sales Manager-Solar Power Projects is a primary interface between customers and company. S/he will develop business for project sales i.e. identifying new prospects through various sources and expanding business with the established clients, generating leads, techno-commercial analysis of their consumption and estimation of power required, negotiation, presentation ,follow ups, visits, track the progress and close the deals. S/he will ensure on-time delivery to the satisfaction of the customer orders and will be the single point of contact (SPOC) for the customer.

Key Skills:
· Minimum (Min.) 4 years of experience in sales of solar power systems/projects either rooftop/ mounted ground project ranging from 20 KW to 500 MW capacities for captive consumption or for solar power generation to B2B customers
· Sales Manager will be responsible for develop business for project sales i.e. identifying new prospects through various sources and expanding business with the established clients, generating leads, techno-commercial analysis of their consumption and estimation of power required, negotiation, presentation ,follow ups, visits, track the progress and close the deals.
· Mobility -Willingness to travel Minimum 2 weeks in a month anywhere in state /India
· Strong Network and connects with small, medium and large scale businesses and commercial establishments like malls, educational institutes, hospitals , other commercial complexes in and around Pune and in Maharashtra and India
· Knowledge of Indian and local players in Solar Power Sector is required. The knowledge of typical customer segment, knowledge of consumption patterns of the end-users,Acumen of the energy industry especially with the knowledge of the relevant Central and State Government policies in reference to solar power plant installation ,knowledge of ‘Net Metering Policy’ with product mix, pricing strategies etc.
· Experience in giving project demonstrations, participating in solar energy conferences, participating in solar energy networking bodies, installing stalls and extending sales support activities, keen interest and willingness to take challenges in a highly competitive sales environment.
· Good communication skills, negotiation and presentation skills,
· Good knowledge using MS office, especially MS Word ,MS Excel and internet search and social media marketing
· Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
· Self-starter and driven to close and generate orders
· Two-Wheeler Required with valid driving license and mental and physical fitness for field-sales job
Major responsibilities:
• Generating sales leads by personal visits to industrial estates , meeting the enterprises and business- owners and giving demonstrations for project-sale, participating in solar energy conferences , participating in Solar energy networking bodies, installing stalls, participating relevant events, and exhibitions, webinars
• Interact with customers to gauge their consumption patterns, estimate requirements and understand buying behaviour, determining pricing, negotiating all contracts/orders with prospective clients, answering client questions about payment terms, prices, availability and delivery time and ensure their satisfaction
• Meeting regular sales targets (Weekly/Monthly). Co-coordinating with internal team for intime delivery
• Achieve the target of sales per month with proper planning and execution. Ability to increase sales by collecting information of the industrial /commercial segment and designing marketing strategy for maximum closure
• Maintaining client records on a daily basis, updating database as per process. Analysing data and submitting Daily status reporting/progress updates/timesheets as per process to Seniors on regular basis.
