Job Title: Level 1Technician // Resident Engineer

The L1 Technician is responsible for providing first-line support to end-users for hardware, software, and basic networking issues. This role serves as the initial point of contact for technical support and works to resolve problems or escalate them to higher-level support if necessary.
· Respond to IT support tickets, emails, or calls from users regarding hardware, software, or network issues.
· Perform basic troubleshooting and issue resolution for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
· Perform CAT 6 cable crimping and cable fault inspection.
· Assist with CCTV camera fixing and configuration.
· Support L2 switch diagnosis and basic router configuration.
· Conduct network diagnosis and basic infrastructure troubleshooting.
· Maintain asset records and update ticketing systems with accurate information.
· Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams with proper documentation.
· Provide clear and professional communication with users.
· Follow IT policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
· Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
· 1–2 years of IT support or help desk experience.
· Basic knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Hands-on experience with networking hardware and cabling is a plus.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
