The Service Advisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assessing vehicle issues, advising customers on necessary repairs and maintenance, and ensuring smooth communication between the service department and customers. They help in improving service sales, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring efficient service operations.
Greet customers and actively listen to their concerns about vehicle issues.
Explain repair and maintenance work required in a clear and professional manner.
Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for service completion.
Maintain open and transparent communication with customers throughout the repair process.
Handle customer complaints and work towards resolutions to ensure satisfaction.
Schedule service appointments efficiently.
Recommend additional services based on vehicle inspections and manufacturer guidelines.
Prepare detailed work orders and relay instructions to technicians.
Upsell preventive maintenance services and service packages.
Inspect and verify vehicle issues before sending them for repairs.
Ensure repair work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Maintain records of customer interactions, services performed, and invoices.
Process payments and warranty claims if applicable.
Stay updated on industry trends, vehicle technologies, and service protocols.
