Job Summary
The Tele Collection Executive is responsible for proactively contacting delinquent customers to collect outstanding payments and negotiate payment arrangements. They must exhibit excellent communication skills, empathy, and a firm yet respectful approach to ensure debt recovery while maintaining customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Initiate outbound calls to customers with overdue payments or outstanding debts.
• Use scripted or customized conversation templates to engage with customers professionally.
• Attempt to reach customers through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and SMS.
• Assess customers financial situations and propose feasible payment solutions.
• Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, or alternative arrangements to clear debts.
• Provide information on available payment options and guide customers in choosing the most suitable one.
• Update customer account information, including contact details and payment history.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on collections activities.
• Maintain professionalism and patience when dealing with difficult or irate customers.
• Build rapport with customers to encourage cooperation and commitment to payment.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly collection targets.
• Continuously improve collection strategies to optimize results.
