Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loan Settlement Executive to join our
team. This individual will be responsible for managing and processing the final settlement of
loans, ensuring all terms and conditions are met, and working closely with clients and internal
teams. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of loan documentation, compliance
standards, and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate and timely loan settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process loan settlements from start to finish, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
· Liaise with clients to coordinate and finalize loan payments, including ensuring timely settlement and payment disbursements.
· Verify that all loan agreements, legal documents, and financial details are in accordance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and the terms agreed upon.
· Work closely with internal departments such as risk, compliance, and customer service to ensure smooth settlement procedures.
· Ensure timely communication with clients regarding settlement status, timelines, and required actions.
· Conduct necessary research and follow-up on any discrepancies or issues during the settlement process.
· Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of loan products, regulations, and industry standards.
· Generate reports on loan settlements, tracking performance and ensuring key metrics are met.
· Assist in preparing loan settlement documentation and coordinate with third parties such as legal teams, banks, or external agencies, as required.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
· Proven experience in loan operations, settlements, or a related role within the banking or financial services industry.
· Strong understanding of loan documentation, financial regulations, and industry standards.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
1. Knowledge of specific loan products (e.g., mortgages, personal loans, corporate loans).
2. Certification or additional training in loan operations or financial services is a plus.
