Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished, high-quality videos for various platforms including social media, website content, marketing campaigns, and potentially internal training. You should have a strong portfolio and be proficient in industry-standard editing software.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and edit raw footage into well-paced, visually appealing final videos.
Incorporate graphics, lower thirds, text overlays, music, sound effects, and voiceovers as required.
Perform color correction, grading, and audio mixing/enhancement to ensure professional quality.
Collaborate with the content/marketing team to understand project requirements and objectives.
Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and messaging.
Manage and organize video files, projects, and related assets efficiently.
Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Website, etc.).
Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques and social media trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor (a strong portfolio showcasing your work is essential).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics software (like Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
A keen eye for detail, timing, and visual storytelling.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills for collaborating with team members.
Ability to receive and implement feedback constructively.
