Inventory Management:
Receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies.
Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels.
Identifying and addressing discrepancies in inventory.
Ensuring that stock levels are sufficient to meet demand.
Storage and Organization:
Organizing and maintaining the storeroom in a neat and orderly manner.
Ensuring that materials are stored according to weight, temperature, size, and safety precautions.
Material Handling:
Loading and unloading stock efficiently.
Ensuring proper handling and distribution of goods.
Measuring, counting, and/or cutting requested amounts of materials.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock levels.
Preparing and maintaining store reports.
Maintaining store stock registers and asset stock registers.
Other Duties:
Assisting customers with inquiries about products and availability.
Participating in inventory counts and cycle counts.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Supervising other staff members (in some roles).
