Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness, organization, and safety hazards. Assign duties to housekeeping staff and ensure completion within the established timelines. Train, guide, and mentor new housekeeping employees, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Monitor and manage housekeeping staff performance, including providing feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing issues as needed. Ensure proper inventory management of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens. Order supplies as necessary.Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness in staff areas, restrooms, and break rooms. Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals.Ensure that all rooms meet the hotel's cleanliness and presentation standards for guest arrivals. Prepare and maintain cleaning schedules, track room status, and report to the management team regarding department needs.Assist with the planning of special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning schedules during off-peak periods. Coordinate with other departments, such as Maintenance, Front Desk, and Laundry, to ensure seamless operations.
