Job Role: System Administrator
Experience: 1-3 years
CTC: 1.8 to 3 Lakhs

Work Location: Kolathur, Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
1. Server Management:
o Installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers.
o Monitoring server performance and ensuring uptime.
2. Desktop Management and Installation:
o Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop systems and peripherals.
o Providing end-user support and resolving hardware/software issues.
3. Firewall Management Skills:
o Configure, manage, and maintain firewalls to ensure secure and efficient network traffic.
o Implement security policies and rules to control network access and prevent unauthorized activities.
o Regularly monitor firewall logs and alerts to identify and address potential threats.
o Ensure network security compliance by adhering to organizational and regulatory guidelines.
o Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation for firewall infrastructure.
o Design and implement secure VPN connections for remote access and site-to-site communication.
4. Networking Skills:
o Managing basic network configurations and troubleshooting.
o Ensuring network security and connectivity.
5. AWS Management:
o Managing AWS cloud resources, including EC2, S3, Lambda, Amplify and IAM.
o Monitoring and optimizing AWS performance and cost.
o Manage Backup and restoration process which include auto backup features and more.
6. Windows Server Administration:
o Managing Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and user permissions.
o Implementing security policies and system backups.

7. Other Skills, Documentation and Reporting:
o Managing and maintaining Git/SVN repositories to support version control and collaborative development.
o Proficient in administering business email services with third-party vendors such as Zoho and Google, including configuring and managing additional services as required to meet development and organizational needs.
o Maintaining accurate records of system configurations and incidents.
o Document everything related to installation, configuring and day-to-to activities.
o Preparing reports on system performance and improvement recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows Server Administration, including Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Expertise in managing firewalls, monitoring network traffic, and ensuring secure and efficient network operations.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Management (EC2, S3, Lambda, Amplify, IAM).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
