Lab Technician

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conducts literature survey for the selected molecule/drug product/Complex Drug Products to support development of analytical method. Supports the planning and design of the proposed analytical method for development. 

2. Conducts routine experiments for the assigned product development project as per the work plan provided and assists the senior project team members in conducting more complex experiments. 

3.  Maintains logbooks and documentation of experiments conducted and ensures these are completed and available for reference in the appropriate documentation repository. 

4. Calibration for Analytical Instrument/Equipment’s with complete report preparation on timely manner. 

5. Handling of HPLC/GC along with specialized detector ELSD/CAD/CD/RI/FID.

6.  Reduce incidence and Errors for smooth functioning of work. 

7.  On time analysis of POC products as per requirements. 

8.  Analytical Issues handling independently. 

9.  Assists in stability studies/calibration and ensures all experiments are conducted as per the statutory guidelines. 

10.  Conducts basic analysis of results of the tests/experiments conducted. 

11. Adheres to laboratory procedures, practices, and maintains and ensures upkeep of the laboratory equipment as per the GLP, EHS and other statutory guidelines. 

12. To Participate in Technology transfer of developed product at contract manufacturing site. 

13.  Should analyze, interpret, report and present results. Making sure that data is accurately recorded in accordance with guideline. 

Internal and External Coordination

Maintain Daily Indents of Laboratory reagents in Timely manner. 

Interacts for procurement of reagents / glassware as per required specification/Lab Instruments/Impurities/Standard. 

1. Taking Complete ownership towards task completion. 

2. Check complete readiness for the product Development. 

3. To be responsible for maintenance of lab instruments and GLP. 

4. Accuracy of work with Data integrity
