JOB RESPONSIBILITES

 Develop a Public-Private Partnership framework for developing agri-business products in their

areas.

 To keep the farming community up to date with latest and innovative knowledge and farming

techniques to increase the efficiency of agricultural produce.

 Develop a comprehensive database of all existing agri-businesses in areas assigned to them.

 Maintaining database of all leading established and upcoming farmers in areas assigned to them.

 Establish Close Contact with Farming Community by understanding local customs and traditions of

farming community of the area.

 Conducting product demonstrations, trials and analyze result of products at multiple stages of

plant development.

 Craft a Cooperating Environment among Farmers to give a credible solution to farmers problems

by creating cooperative groups and conducting discussion sessions.

 To communicate with opinion leaders in respective areas and build environment favorable for

company products by using methods like farm walks farmer rallies, demonstration, field visits,

group meetings and motivational tours, etc.

 Identify gaps with respect to agro-processors with practical time-bound plans for establishing

them.

 Conducting various education program for Farmer meetings.

 Supporting local dealers and distributors for reaching multiple retailers for smooth distribution of

company’s products.

 Emphasize On New Product Development or new line of treatment against various pests in crops.

 Material Procurement & supply Chain Management.

 MIS and Sales Reporting.

DESIRED PROFILE:

12th or Diploma or BSc in Agriculture with 6months-2 years’ experience in promoting agriculture products

to farmers.

Language: English; hindi & local language used in areas assigned.

Network with local retailers and opinion makers who can educate farmers on new products.
