Job Opening: Estimation Engineer
Location: Genda Circle, Vadodara
Department: Estimation
‍ Reporting To: Head / Manager - Estimation
Qualification:
✅ Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
Experience:
✅ 2 to 3 years as an Estimation Engineer
Skills & Competencies Required:
✔ Strong knowledge of industry codes: ASME Sec VIII div.I, II, API, TEMA, HEI, IBR, BS/UBC, etc.
✔ Proficiency in design/checking of calculations & drawings
✔ Familiarity with design software: PVElite, Microprotol, AutoCAD, Compress, etc.
✔ Excellent communication skills
✔ Ability to make independent decisions
➕ Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):
✔ Certification in Cost Estimation, CAD, or Project Management
✔ Knowledge of ERP software for estimation and costing
✔ Training in manufacturing processes related to stainless steel and hot pressing
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare estimation documents covering all engineering phases as per contractual requirements
Perform tasks efficiently within allocated man-hours
Maintain high motivation and participate in team-building programs
Ensure all estimations are reviewed by the Senior Estimation Engineer before submission to GM - Business Development
Communicate cost and delivery implications to clients/consultants for scope changes before order placement
Maintain thorough knowledge of correct pricing for major items while preparing quotations with sufficient backup
Should be well capable of making individual decisions
