Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment used in steel manufacturing (e.g., rolling mills, furnaces, conveyors).

Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Monitor production processes and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Help in implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.

Maintain and update equipment logs, maintenance reports, and documentation.

Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth operations.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Required Skills:
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks (preferred but not mandatory).

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to work in shifts and industrial environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or training experience in a steel or heavy manufacturing industry.

Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal systems.

Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and machining processes.
