Job Description
- Producing quality goods on a large scale using machinery and labor
- Sorting and packaging of products
Key Responsibilities:
Identify potential hazards in the workplace and conduct thorough risk assessments to determine the likelihood and severity of risks.
Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are effective and relevant to the workplace.
Regularly monitor workplace conditions, safety procedures, and employee compliance with safety regulations, conducting audits to identify areas for improvement.
Provide health and safety training to employees, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and how to work safely.
Investigate workplace accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, including inspections, audits, incidents, and training.
Work closely with management and employees to promote a positive safety culture.
Continuously identify areas for improvement in health and safety practices and implement changes to enhance workplace safety.
