Job Overview:
The Production Engineer with a focus on PPC (Production Planning & Control) is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production line, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring that production schedules and inventory levels are met. This role involves working closely with the production, planning, and supply chain teams to monitor, analyze, and improve the production process, and to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Control:
o Develop and implement production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
o Coordinate production activities, monitor progress, and ensure that production targets and deadlines are met.
o Analyze production data to ensure efficient use of resources and machinery.
o Control and manage raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory levels.
o Ensure adherence to production budgets and minimize waste.
2. Process Optimization:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall quality.
o Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
o Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements to prevent delays in the production process.
3. Quality Control:
o Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that products meet required quality standards and specifications.
o Identify and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
o Monitor the use of raw materials and ensure the quality of the final product meets customer expectations.
4. Production Reporting:
o Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including performance metrics, inventory levels, and resource utilization.
o Ensure data accuracy for tracking production efficiency, yields, and downtime.
o Present production data to senior management and suggest corrective actions or improvements where necessary.

5. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with other departments like procurement, supply chain, and maintenance to ensure smooth production operations.
o Communicate production schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders.
o Provide technical support and guidance to the production team to resolve operational issues.
6. Maintenance Coordination:
o Monitor machine downtime and maintenance needs, ensuring that equipment is regularly maintained and operational.
o Work with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and prevent unscheduled breakdowns.

Key Requirements:
• Educational Qualification:
o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and control in a manufacturing environment.
o Experience with production management software (e.g., ERP, MES) is preferred.
• Skills:
o Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing techniques.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify process inefficiencies.
o Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
o Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
