The Quality Executive is responsible for ensuring the hospital meets regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and internal quality benchmarks. The role involves monitoring, auditing, and improving hospital processes to enhance patient care and safety.
Implement and maintain quality management systems as per NABH, JCI, or other accreditation standards.
Conduct internal audits, identify gaps, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics.
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for adverse events.
Promote patient safety initiatives and infection control practices.
Conduct training sessions for hospital staff on quality protocols, patient safety, and best practices.
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.
Ensure proper documentation of quality activities and reports.
Assist in preparing the hospital for NABH, JCI, and other accreditation audits.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
Support the implementation of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) for quality monitoring.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, or a related field.
Certification in NABH, JCI, Six Sigma, or Quality Management is a plus.
2-5 years of experience in healthcare quality management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and training abilities.
Attention to detail and strong observation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
Knowledge of hospital workflows and patient care processes.
