Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Description:
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a minimum of 4 years in accounting. This role is responsible for managing a range of accounting functions, including handling GST returns and utilizing ERP systems. The successful candidate will lead a small team of junior accountants while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:
o Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
o Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and reports.
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GST returns and other statutory filings.
• ERP System Management:
o Efficiently use and manage the company’s ERP system for processing accounting transactions.
o Implement process improvements and provide support for system-related queries.
• Team Leadership:
o Lead and mentor a team of 2 junior accountants.
o Delegate tasks effectively, review work for accuracy, and provide training as needed.
• Reporting & Analysis:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
o Conduct variance analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions.
• Standard Compliance & Audit:
o Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
o Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Experience:
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting, with proven expertise in managing GST returns and utilizing ERP systems.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a small team.
• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems is essential.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
