Accountant

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

• General Ledger Management: Manage the general ledger, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy of data.

• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.

• Month-End/Year-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports for management.

• Compliance & Taxation: Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support in the creation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts. Provide financial insights to help guide decision-making processes.

• Cash Management: Monitor and manage company cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations and long-term planning.

• Internal Controls: Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

• Audit Support: Assist with both internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents and explanations.
