We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Chemtex Specialty Limited in Kolkata, located at Rajarhat Expressway. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹16000 - ₹20000 and opportunities for professional growth. Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely GST and TDS filings, computations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Securely manage and back up financial data while maintaining confidentiality.Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports.Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.Job Requirements:A perfect candidate for this role should have a strong background in bookkeeping and a keen eye for numerical accuracy. The minimum qualification for the role is Graduate and 3 years -6+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Candidates must have knowledge about accounting and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Skills and Qualification:Good knowledge in Tally Prime 2.1 (mandatory)Good knowledge of GST & TDS deductions.Good knowledge in Journal entries, Bank Reconciliation.Basic knowledge of MS-Excel.Monthly vendor ledger reconciliation.Documentation and mailing.
