• Accounting Support:
o Process day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate entries into the accounting system.
o Prepare journal entries for monthly and year-end closings.
o Assist with bank reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
• Financial Reporting:
o Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
o Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
o Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external auditors.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
o Track expenses and assist in cost management by providing variance analysis.
• Taxation & Compliance:
o Support the preparation of tax returns (VAT, GST, or others as applicable) and ensure timely submission.
o Maintain knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
• Internal Controls & Audit:
o Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.
o Ensure adherence to internal control procedures to maintain financial integrity.
• Documentation & Record Keeping:
o Maintain organized financial files and records in both digital and physical formats.
o Assist in document preparation for audits, tax filing, and other financial processes.
• Client and Vendor Interaction:
o Liaise with clients and vendors regarding invoicing, payments, and any discrepancies.
o Address financial queries and resolve issues promptly.
