Reports To: Finance Manager / Head of Finance

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Manager with 1-3 years of experience to manage and oversee the daily financial activities of Krimmy Thickshakes. This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles to ensure smooth financial operations, accurate reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial data.

    • Perform financial analysis to identify trends and variances and provide insights to management for decision-making.

  2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections for supplies and customers.

    • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.

    • Process supplier invoices, manage vendor relationships, and resolve any discrepancies.

  3. General Ledger & Bank Reconciliation:

    • Oversee general ledger management, ensuring accurate journal entries.

    • Reconcile monthly bank statements and internal financial records.

    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

  4. Taxation & Compliance:

    • Prepare and file GST/VAT returns and ensure adherence to local tax regulations.

    • Maintain accurate records to support tax filings and audits.

    • Keep up to date with any changes in tax laws and accounting standards.

  5. Cash Flow Management:

    • Monitor daily cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.

    • Assist in forecasting cash requirements and managing financial liquidity.

  6. Internal Controls & Audit Support:

    • Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

    • Contribute to the development of internal financial controls and best practices.

  7. Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Work closely with various departments (e.g., operations, sales, and HR) to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting.

    • Assist the senior finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the F&B or retail industry.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.

  • Certification in accounting (e.g., CA, ACCA) is desirable but not required.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
