Job brief

We are looking for an Executive – Taxation, to join our accounting team. The candidate will be mainly responsible for Overall Direct & Indirect taxation requirements.

Responsibilities

Monthly GST Returns GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filing

Monthly GSTR2B Reconciliation

Job work return filing with GST

GST Refund filing & processing

Monthly TDS Workings and creation of challans

Quarterly TDS return preparation & filing

TDS return revision & complying with TDS forms

Complying with TDS defaults & Notices

Responsible for all tax related entries and ledgers

Co-ordinating on MCA return filing

Support in other accounting and Treasury work

Complying with statutory audit report & schedules

Complying with GST & other departmental audits

Skills Needed to be an Accountant 

To take on the taxation job description, effectively requires:  

Technical Expertise – Sound conceptual understanding of GST, Income tax & other taxation laws.

Software Skills – Proficiency in using financial management systems like SAP B1and Tally Prime. along with Excel at an advanced level. 

Communication Ability – Intra department and Inter department communication skills in verbal as well in writing are essential.     

Ethical Values – As custodians of financial data, accountants must demonstrate utmost integrity, honesty and professionalism always.
