Counter Billing Executive

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Executive to join our team at our Jewelry Shop . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing customer transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of the billing process, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Generation & Processing:

   • Prepare and generate invoices for customers based on their purchases.

   • Ensure that all products, including jewelry, are correctly billed according to weight, design, and other relevant specifications.

   • Verify the accuracy of the details on invoices (product descriptions, prices, taxes, etc.).

2. Payment Processing:

   • Manage payment transactions through cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.

   • Ensure the accurate recording of payments in the system.

   • Handle returns and exchanges in compliance with company policies, including adjustments to invoices.

3. Customer Interaction:

   • Provide assistance to customers by answering questions related to pricing, products, and invoices.

   • Address any billing-related issues or discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.

   • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while dealing with customers.

4. Record Keeping:

   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all billing transactions.

   • File invoices and receipts appropriately for future reference and audit purposes.

   • Reconcile billing discrepancies and report any issues to the management team.

5. Inventory & Stock Coordination:

   • Assist in ensuring the inventory is accurately updated after each sale.

   • Communicate with the sales team regarding any stock-related issues affecting billing.

6. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with the sales, inventory, and accounting departments to ensure smooth operations.

   • Provide reports to management regarding billing and revenue information when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a billing executive, cashier, or in a similar role (experience in a retail or jewelry setting is a plus).

• Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles.

• Familiarity with billing software or POS (Point of Sale) systems.

• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle customer queries and complaints professionally.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
