Job Summary:
Akinex Global Supplies is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the Senior Accountant, and assisting with financial reporting and audits. This role requires strong analytical skills, adherence to financial policies and regulations, and the ability to support the financial operations of our growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts and financial documents.
3. Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts regularly.
4. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
5. Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments efficiently.
6. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
7. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
8. Provide financial data to support management decision-making.
9. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
10. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
11. Track and categorize company expenses for accurate financial reporting.
12. Assist in monitoring budgets and preparing financial forecasts.
13. Support the Senior Accountant in ad-hoc financial projects.
14. Stay updated on accounting best practices and financial software developments.
15. Process employee salary payments accurately and on time.
16. Handle ESI and PF payments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 2-5 years of accounting experience (internships included).
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or SAP).
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance.
2. Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
