Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

 We are looking for an experienced Junior Accounts Manager to oversee our company’s financial operations. This leadership role involves managing the accounting team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations (including TDS, GST, and ROC), and preparing accurate financial statements and final reports. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, a strong leader, and experienced in managing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare, review, and file TDS, GST, and ROC returns, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

• Prepare and review final financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior accountants and staff.

• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.

• Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans while providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company’s financial health and stability.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory filings, including TDS, GST, and ROC.

• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making and strategy.

• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.

• In-depth experience with TDS, GST, and ROC filing and compliance.

• Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including final reports.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on developing and mentoring staff.

• High proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work well under pressure.

• Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Assist in year-end audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
